Turf Care Supply, LLC has been a leader in American manufacturing and innovation within the professional green industry since 1974. TCS formulates a wide range of top-performing professional and retail fertilizer brands, using only the highest quality raw materials and the most advanced technologies. By developing cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency, promote environmental sustainability, and improve plant health, Turf Care Supply, LLC is dedicated to driving the turf industry—and its customers—toward a more sustainable and greener future.


With manufacturing facilities located in Hatfield, MA, Martins Ferry, OH, Sebring, FL, and Port of Catoosa, OK, Turf Care Supply is strategically positioned to deliver high-quality products and services across the Northeast, Mid-Central, Mid-Atlantic, Southern, and Western markets.


Additionally, TCS operates the largest nitrogen coating facility in North America. All of its facilities are EPA-registered and feature on-site laboratories that conduct rigorous testing to ensure every product meets premium quality standards and complies with label specifications.



Turf Care Supply, LLC is not only focused on fulfilling the product needs of its customers but also on providing active support and contributing to the industry and community. Through the #TCSCares program, TCS supports various national and regional charities, as well as the charitable initiatives of its customers.


TCS is a proud member of key industry organizations, including NALP and GCSAA, and is firmly committed to the principles of 4R Nutrient Stewardship.

Our History

Turf Care Supply, LLC, was originally established in 2005 as a stand-alone company following the purchase of all of the manufacturing and distribution assets of lawn care retailer, LESCO Inc. Acquired by Platinum Equity, a Beverly Hills based private equity fund. 

From formerly being know as LESCO Inc. to the current Turf Care Supply, LLC of today, our company has been manufacturing and distributing premium quality products to the professional green industry since 1974.


A pioneer in coated fertilizer technologies, in 1978 our company opened the first sulfur coated urea plants in the United States that is still running today in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Since then, the Turf Care Supply coating facility has continuously innovated its manufacturing capabilities and developed and brought to market some of the leading enhanced efficiency fertilizers technologies.

In July of 2015, Turf Care Supply was acquired from Platinum Equity by the Senior Executive Management team, comprised of partners William Milowitz, Chief Executive Officer and President, Jeffrey Bailey, Chief Financial Officer, and Mark Mangan, Chief Operating Officer.


In 2021, Platte River Equity, a middle market Private Equity fund, acquired a majority interest in Turf Care Supply from management.   

 

Turf Care Supply, LLC continues to operate under the successful leadership of Mark Mangan, President and the entire TCS executive team.
